What is infect laser blade quality?

The diamond saw blade is composed of two parts: a steel substrate and an arc-shaped segment. The steel matrix is mainly carbon steel and alloy steel, but the matrix material suitable for laser welding diamond saw blades should generally use high-strength special low-carbon alloy steel. The traditional 40Cr and 45 steel are not recommended for use because the matrix strength is not enough and easy to deform; The traditional 65Mn high-carbon steel is not recommended to be used because a large amount of highly brittle acicular martensite is easily produced in the heat-affected zone of the laser welding substrate. The segment is made of copper-based, iron-based, nickel-based, cobalt-based, tungsten-based and aluminum-based powder mixed with diamond hot-pressed sintering molding. How to reliably weld the two together is one of the key technologies in the laser welding diamond saw blade process. In order to avoid the graphitization of the diamond particles in the segment under the high temperature of laser welding (the carbonization temperature of artificial diamond is 740°C-838°C) and welding cracks due to the large difference in thermal expansion between the segment and the steel matrix, it is usually necessary to insert A transition layer without diamond particles is provided, the thickness of which is in the range of 1.0mm-2.0mm, wherein the transition layer and the segment are connected together by cold pressing forming & hot pressing sintering process. During laser welding, the transition layer and the steel substrate are welded together. Therefore, the selection of the transition layer material of the segment will seriously affect the appearance and weld strength of the laser welded diamond saw blade.

According to the performance and production process requirements of laser welding diamond saw blades, the transition layer of laser welding segment must meet the following requirements: high enough welding strength, good weld quality, reasonable formula components, optimal sintering temperature and low cost . At present, the elements selected as the material composition of the transition layer of the cutter head can be divided into three types: single element (Co, Ni), double element (such as FeCo, FeNi, CoNi, FeCu) and three elements (such as FeCoNi, FeCoCu), but the transition layer Melting point metals such as tin and other elements cannot be contained in the steel, because these elements are easy to evaporate and vaporize to produce pores, but a small amount of Mn and Cr elements that can strengthen solid solution, increase abrasiveness and reduce welding pores can be added. A large number of actual formulas show that Co is very beneficial as a material composition of the transition layer, because an infinite solid solution with Fe can be formed between the steel matrix and the cobalt-based material to achieve a good metallurgical bond between the steel matrix and the transition layer, but due to price factors, it must be Trying to reduce or reduce its dosage is also the main goal of transition layer material formulation research.
